After discovering how little I know about education I decided to have a yarn to a good friend of mine who is also an expert on education - James Zuccollo a director from the Education Policy Institute in the United Kingdom.
In a wide ranging discussion, I attempt to pick his brain about the quality of teaching in the United Kingdom, teacher mobility, and the return to students from higher teacher quality.
It was a lot of fun catching up with James after a while - alongside Rene Le Prou and Will Taylor he was one of the founders of our old economics blog, and its always great to chat to one of the old crew about economics.
If you enjoyed this flick me a message, and the two of us might record some discussions about a wider range of economic topics :)
